CHEMICAL MANAGEMENT? 

We can assist with your schools' chemical management, in one or all four of these catagories to ensure that your school is compliant:

Chemical Management can be broken down into 4 steps.

  • CHEMICAL STOCKTAKE - A Stocktake of all chemicals on site is completed.
  • CHEMICAL SAFETY DATA SHETS/CHEMICAL MANIFEST & HAZARDOUS REGISTER - A safety data sheet is obtained for each item listed on your stocktake. Using the information from the Safety Data Sheet, all columns in the Chemical Manifest are able to be completed. Hazardous chemicals are also added to the Hazardous Chemical Register.
  • CHEMICAL RISK ASSESSMENTS - For all chemicals that identify as hazardous, a risk assessment is completed.
  • SAFETY DATA SHEET FOLDERS - A Safety Data Sheet folder is provided for each block and cleaners storage room (as required.) This contains all chemicals listed on the Chemical Manifest for that block as well as any necessary risk assessments for hazardous chemicals.

The WHS Regulation 2011 requires that a workplace has a manifest.
(If the manifest quantity is exceeded for at least one dangerous goods (DG) category.)
